Dr. Angie is Board Certified in the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine (ABCDSM) and currently serves as the Secretary on the ABCDSM Board of Directors.
She has achieved Fellowship status in the Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) and currently serves as the Chairperson of Online Education in the AACP Board of Directors.
She also has achieved fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and maintains AGD PACE approval status for courses that she sponsors through The Synergy Academy.
She has years of experience as an instructor with The Synergy Academy and the ALF InterFACE Academy. After completing his Master’s in Otorhinolarygology from University Kebangsaan Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur in 2004, he served as a Lecturer & Consultant ENT surgeon at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia from 2004 to 2011. Currently he works in Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. He has always had a special interest in the nose and its associated conditions, but since 2012 he has taken up an avid interest in sleep related breathing disorders. He is a passionate advocate of education both in creating public awareness and teaching medical professionals. He has served as the President of the Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists Head and Neck Surgeons. He organised the Inaugural Asean Sleep Congress in 2012 and the Asian Research Symposium in Rhinology in Kuala Lumpur in 2016. He is currently dedicated in bringing a whole new concept of managing the upper airway in an integrated manner through bridging multiple specialties.
Dr Jerald H. Simmons

Jerald H. Simmons, M.D. is Triple Board-Certified in Neurology, Epilepsy and Sleep Medicine. A graduate of Ohio State University, he did his Neurology residency at Washington University, Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Stanford University and Epilepsy Fellowship at University of California. He began his professional career as Assistant Professor of Neurology at UCLA while co-directing the UCLA Sleep Disorders Center and directing the Clinical Neuro-physiology lab at Olive View UCLA Medical Center. While there he trained Fellows, taught residents and medical students.
In 1999 he was recruited to the Houston area by the Sadler Clinic where he established his sleep disorders practices and continued to conduct clinical research. In 2006 he founded and continues to direct Comprehensive Sleep Medicine Associates, providing clinical services to patients from infants to elderly.
Education continues to be an important aspect of his career, having trained medical students, residents and fellows in sleep medicine. In 2004 he established the Sleep Education Consortium, a 501c3 non-profit organization that holds continuing education conferences with a mission to enhance the knowledge of healthcare professions on sleep disorders. He has been a leader in enhancing the collaboration between medical and dental fields, implementing new approaches that enhance patient care.
New areas of focus include the assessment and management of individuals suffering from head injuries. He is leading up an effort that will hopefully provide new improved aspects to the care of these patients.

Dr. Walker is a Board-Certified Diplomat Orthodontist. Specializing in craniofacial growth and development. He has a clinical practice for 35 years in Harvard and Lunenburg, Massachusetts and Aruba. He has a part time faculty position at Boston University, Department of Orthodontics, where he has designed the Airway Development program into the specialty of Orthodontics as a medical necessity, teaching the intervention and treatment of developing early and late stage breathing issues; UARS, SDB and OSA.
Dr. Walker is the Symposium Director of Dentistry and Breathing Disorder conferences in Massachusetts and the Caribbean. He is the co-director at Boston University’s annual symposiums on SDB and OSA from 2017-2020; Faculty at FIERO conferences 2017-2019. DR. KEVIN BOYD is a board certified Pediatric Dentist in Chicago who holds an M.Sc. degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. He teaches in the Pediatric Dentistry residency training program at Lurie Children’s Hospital and also serves as a dental consultant to the Lurie Sleep Medicine service. Dr. Boyd is an adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Arkansas mentoring PhD research, and also serves as a Visiting Consulting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania's Museum of Archeology and Anthropology where he is collaboratively exploring a hypothetical relationship between changed dietary practices since the Industrial Revolution and diminished human dentofacial development. He lectures worldwide on the topics of Early Childhood Malocclusion (under age 72 months), pediatric sleep-breathing hygiene and Evolutionary Oral Medicine/Darwinian Dentistry.

Associate Professor Dr. Khairil Aznan is a Senior Lecturer and Consultant in Orthodontics in the Department of Family Oral Health, Faculty of Dentistry, University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He obtained his Masters of Medical Science (Orthodontics) from University of Sheffield and Membership in Orthodontics from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2004. Dr. Khairil Aznan is extensively involved in the training postgraduates in Orthodontics program in UKM and actively serve as an external examiners for other universities in the country. His international involvement in teaching of Orthodontics includes his appointment as a Conjoint Examiner for Membership in Orthodontics RCS Edinburgh. Currently, he leads the Klinik Pergigian Pakar MERS UKMKesihatan, the private UKM Dental Specialist Centre.

She obtained her basic dental qualification from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 2003 and pursued her specialist training in orthodontics at King’s College London, United Kingdom in 2005 after securing a prestigious Malaysian Armed Forces scholarship. She successfully graduated with MSc in Orthodontics (London) and acquired the Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Membership in Orthodontics M Orth (Edinburgh) Edinburgh in 2008.
She is currently serving as a Consultant in Orthodontics at the Prince Court Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur upon retiring from the Malaysian Armed Forces which she proudly served for 18 years. She completed her fellowship training in Cleft and Craniofacial Orthodontics based at Great Ormond Street Hospital as well as Guy’s Kings and St Thomas Hospitals qualifying her to be the first fellowship- trained craniofacial orthodontist in the country.
Dr Mumtaj contributes a part -time senior lecturer at the National University Malaysia undertaking orthodontic postgraduate training program for the past 10 years and she is also engaged as a Visiting Craniofacial Orthodontist for the Craniofacial Centre at University Malaya Medical Centre and Cleft Centre at the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital, which aimed at managing complex cases of cleft and syndromic patients with craniofacial deformities.

Dr Narinder Singh is a Rhinologist (Nose & Sinus Specialist Surgeon), Chief of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at Westmead Hospital, Sydney (Australia's largest healthcare campus) and Associate Professor at The University of Sydney (Australia's oldest and largest medical school).
Dr Singh founded the Society for CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) of the Nose and Airway (SCONA – www.scona.org) and convened the first world congress in London, UK, 2018. He co-wrote the definitive textbook on CFD in the Nose (www.springer.com/gp/book/9789811567155). Nicolas Romulus Grimaldi is the founder of ONE OSTEO. He graduated in 2007 after 6 years of full-time studies at ATMAN, one of the oldest French osteopathic colleges.
First of all, Nicolas Grimaldi was born in Africa, raised in the Caribbean island of St. Martin. Through his life and travels, he has developed a thirst for adventure.
Furthermore, he has worked with various sport teams during his early days. Above all, he has always kept his curiosity for learning new approaches and techniques intact through various post-graduated trainings and self-learning.

Dr. Ong Yi Woon received her Degree of Dental Surgery from Malaysian National University (UKM) in 2007. She started her career pathway as a general dental practitioner in civil service for 4 years. After gaining priceless experience by serving the public, she indulged herself into private practice, mainly focusing on guiding craniofacial development and growth in growing patients, as well as treating orofacial myofunctional disorders and dental sleep medicine for both children and adults in her current practice.
She strongly believes that continuous dental education and postdoctoral training is the most important element in providing her patients comprehensive approach to oral health. As such, she obtained her Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery, The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in year 2011. In year 2012, she pursued her postdoctoral training and had her clinical tagging in dental sleep medicine in Pennsylvania, United States. Patrick McKeown was educated at Trinity College Dublin, completing his clinical training in Russia. For the last 20 years, he has taught functional breathing to help children and adults with insomnia, snoring and sleep apnoea. Patrick’s article, Breathing Re-Education and Phenotypes of Sleep Apnea: A Review, co-authored with Drs. Carlos O'Connor-Reina and Guillermo Plaza, is published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine. The Breathing Cure (2021), Patrick’s newest book, is a deep dive into the science of breathing. It explores functional breathing for a wide range of health conditions, and breathing exercises suitable for adults, children and teens.

Associate Professor Dr. Rama Krsna received his dental degree from the National University Of Malaysia in 2004. Sharon Moore is a Speech Pathologist with 4 decades of clinical experience across a wide range of disorders of function in the upper airway. She has worked in clinical settings in Australia and London. Currently, she runs a Private Practice in Canberra, managing medical & dental specialist referrals for patients of all ages and is a member of the Transdisciplinary team for the Canberra Sleep Clinic. Su-Jung Kim, DMD, MSD, PhD, is a Chairperson and a Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Kyung Hee University School of Dentistry, Seoul, Korea. Dr. Kim completed all her studies at Kyung Hee University School of Dentistry, and she joined the Department of Orthodontics at the university. She has also spent time (2012-3) as a visiting scholar of Orthodontics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She was doing a regular weekly seminar in UCLA to teach the
orthodontic residents sleep-related orthodontics for a year. Dr. Kim is currently Educational Director of Korean Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, International Director of Korean Society of Digital Orthodontics, and International Director of Korean Association of Orthodontists. She is a
longstanding member of various other professional and scientific organizations and societies, including the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and the World sleep society. She is the major author of 60 SCI(E) articles and has delivered scientific presentations in the international meetings. Dr Yap Yoke Yeow completed his medical training in Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1997 and his Masters in ORL & Head and Neck Surgery in USM in 2004. He was also the first ENT Surgeon to obtain the RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certificate from USA in 2013. He originated the first ASEAN Sleep Congress held in Kuala Lumpur in 2012 as President of the Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists and Head & Neck Surgeons. He has also conducted numerous courses and training locally and internationally on Sleep Apnea, Sleep Diagnostics, Sleep Surgery, Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma and Surgery for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma. He also coordinated the Malaysian Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Program from 2009 to 2012 under MSOHNS. He was also Chairman of the Subspecialty Committee for the National Specialist Registry for ORL in Malaysia in 2012-2013. Among his notable awards are, the Gold Medal at the 33rd International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products at Geneva-Palexpo (patronage of Swiss Government, 2005), the WIPO Award for Best Inventor for the invention of EZEBV Amp at the ITEX (World Intellectual Property Organisaion & MINDS, 2004), MAKNA Cancer Research Award (National Cancer Council, 2005) and National Scientist of Excellence Award (Ministry of Higher Education, 2005). Dr Yap also led the formation of the ASEAN Sleep Federation which was adopted in the 2nd ASEAN Sleep Congress in Bangkok in 2013. He recently co-authored the Global Council on Brain Health Recommendations on Sleep and Brain Health in 2016.

Having completed his BDS degree at the National University of Singapore, Dr Yue received an annual scholarship award from The Pierre Fauchard Academy Foundation. He has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and Fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr Yue has also obtained his membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Dr Yue has completed the full TMD continuum at Occlusion Connections in the USA and finished his mini-residency on Dental Sleep Medicine with TUFTS University School of Dental Medicine, and continues to lecture and conduct hands-on courses locally and internationally.
